An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Campaign Book (measures 8" x 9" [20 x 23 cm]; 118 pages) (Learn More) MGM 1936-37, the 1936 spiral-bound campaign book ("Leo's Candid Camera Book") featuring information about the upcoming events, movies, the stars, and the staff from MGM in 1936-37 with short descriptions of each movie and cast. Note that this book was made in two versions. One had lots of black & white charcoal images of their top stars, with some nice color artwork images scattered throughout. The other did not have a single illustration on any page, not even the MGM logo. Obviously, this was likely because this was printed at the height of The Great Depression, so it seems likely that they sent the elaborate version to their top theaters and the no illustration version to small theaters. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that this is the deluxe version of this book, with many images (see above). Note: We have 11 images of the campaign books in this set, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 11 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 1. Condition: fair to good. There are two versions of this book, and this is the more elaborate version. However, the covers and six interior pages are missing. The part of the book that is present is in pretty nice condition with minor wear around the edges (see our images).
