Artist: Drew Struzan Important Added Info: Note that this British quad measures 31" x 40 3/4" [79 x 104 cm]. There are several "variants" within the different types of styles created for this title, and to make things more complicated, some have tiny white borders, which changes the size of the poster slightly (from 30x40 to around 31x41 which is the case of this teaser poster). Also note that this is a teaser British quad (note the complete lack of credits on the poster). Finally, note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Note that this special "all Star Wars" auction began with a phone call from a VERY long time collector of Star Wars posters! He told us that he had reached a point in his life where he was wanting to sell his collection, and he asked if we could do it all at one time. Because he had 174 posters (including many of the most rare and desirable ones), we were happy to comply, but we told him that we would like to also add additional rare Star Wars posters from other collectors, and he agreed, and after we were consigned an additional 117 posters and related items, we have our auction! Condition: good to very good. The poster has a few relatively tiny pinholes in the corners and some small paper loss in the right center crossfold (see our image). It has a few light creases scattered in various areas and some small separation in the lower edge of the center vertical foldline that slightly extends into the red background. None of these defects are very distracting and certainly the poster could be linenbacked and it would look wonderful (however many Star Wars collectors would certainly be happy to display this poster as is!)
