Also note that there are many reproductions of this poster, most in a somewhat smaller or much smaller size, but this is the rare 1903 original poster! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was never folded. It had many creases and scuffs scattered in the woman's hair, with some tiny surface paper loss on them. It had a lesser number of creases scattered throughout. It had surface tears and tiny surface paper loss in the "A" of "CREAM" at lower right, and some minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. Many years ago, someone backed this poster onto thin linen with no restoration. It can still be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or certainly, one can have it re-backed.
