An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55" [99 x 140 cm]) (Learn More)

La Terra Trema: Episodio del Mare (released in the U.S. in 1957 as "La Terra Trema"), the 1948 Luchino Visconti Italian sailing sailor fishing fisherman ocean melodrama narrated by Luchino Visconti, Antonio Pietrangeli, and Antonio Arcidiacono. Note that this film was first shown at the Venice Film Festival in 1948, before receiving a wider Italian release in 1949. All known Italian posters are for the 1949 wide release (it is quite likely that if a poster was created for the 1948 film festival release, it was one of a kind, and not studio issued, and would not have survived).
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Artist: Averardo Ciriello
Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Italian movie!

Condition: good to very good. There is much light staining on the part of the back of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded. It falls in the lower right of the image, but fortunately, the light staining does not have much effect on the front, and otherwise, the poster is in pretty good condition.
