Zanuck"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Walter Pidgeon, Maureen O'Hara, Donald Crisp (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Anna Lee, Roddy McDowall, Barry Fitzgerald, and Sara Allgood (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film). Note that an unusual distinction for this sentimental movie is that it was VERY highly regarded immediately on its release, and it is somewhat notorious for winning the Best Picture Oscar over both "Citizen Kane" and "The Maltese Falcon", among others. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this first release insert, and that was 13 years ago! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but because it has been laying flat for a long time our intention is to send it rolled in a tube. However, because we are certain it would not harm it to re-fold it (because the folds are still there and have not diminished), we can also re-fold it if the buyer needs it to be shipped with folded items. Condition: very good. The poster has a pinhole in each top corner, with a few smudges. It has minor wear on the folds. It had separation at the right end of the top fold and someone put tape on the back of that area. It has a faint diagonal crease running through Pidgeon's nose and cheek.
