Also included are 2 ad supplements that have 2 pages (Learn More) the 1959 double-bill release of The Killer Shrews, the 1959 Ray Kellogg science fiction (sci-fi) horror thriller ("All that was left after...THE KILLER SHREWS"; about a group of people trapped on an island with a doctor whose experiment has unwittingly created giant shrews) starring Ingrid Goude, James Best, Ken Curtis, Baruch Lumet, and Gordon McLendon AND The Giant Gila Monster, the 1959 Ray Kellogg teen science fiction (sci-fi) horror thriller (about a group of hot-rodding rock 'n' roll music teenagers that band together to get rid of a gigantic atomic Gila monster!; "Only Hell Could Breed Such An Enormous Beast... Only God Could Destroy It!") starring Don Sullivan, Lisa Simone, Fred Graham, and Shug Fisher NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that pressbooks were prepared prior to a movie being released. Often, changes would be made in a movie advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed. These supplements are very rare, far more rare than the pressbooks themselves! Some pressbooks would have no supplements, some would have one, and some would have several. Almost every Academy Award winning movie would have a special "Academy Award winner" supplement. Note that this pressbook is part of an amazing collection of 456 different horror/sci-fi pressbooks (our items #5387 through #5842)! The collector who assembled this collection did so over a span of several decades, and to duplicate it would surely take at least that long, if one started today. But on October 30th, every one of these pressbooks will go to a new owner, as all are being sold with NO reserve. Note that this collection spans the years from 1950 to 1972, and just about every single 1950s and 1960s horror/sci-fi movie is represented here. Also note that we have listed them in DATE order (first by year, and then alphabetically within years). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire rare pressbooks that almost never are offered for sale! Condition: very good. Note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Since pressbooks were INTENDED to be cut up (the theater owners would cut out the newspaper ads to run in their local papers).
