An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 7 3/4" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) The Wrong Mr. Wright, the 1927 Scott Sidney silent mistaken identity romantic comedy ("George Broadhurst's laughing stage hit"; about a timid man named Seymour White, who creates a new kind of ladies' lingerie, and when he goes to Atlantic City to meet his lost sweetheart, he discovers she has grown fat and ugly, and he pretends to be "Mr. Wright", and all kinds of comic hilarity results) starring Jean Hersholt, Enid Bennett, Dorothy Devore, Walter Hiers, Edgar Kennedy, and Robert Anderson. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still is a key book still, mounted to a linen backing. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic. Someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the left of the still. Condition: very good. The left 1" was neatly trimmed off (see above) and there is some excess linen in that area.
