An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 12 3/4" x 21 1/4" [32 x 54 cm]) (Learn More) A Lady of Quality, the 1924 Hobart Henley silent romantic love triangle murder melodrama ("Carl Laemmle presents the magnificent production of Frances Hodgson Burnett's glorious romance"; "From the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett"; an odd story of a woman involved with two different English noblemen; she breaks off with one, and he threatens to blackmail her, so she kills him and hides his body in the basement, and her other boyfriend has no problem forgiving her) starring Virginia Valli, Milton Sills, Earl Foxe, Bert Roach, Lionel Belmore, Dorothea Wolbert, Margaret Seddon, and Patterson Dial NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that the window card measures 12 3/4" x 21 1/4", but we believe it was created this size and was not trimmed, but we can't say for certain, so know there is some chance it was trimmed, but if so, only blank white paper was affected. Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned some lobby cards, a single 8x10 still, and a glass slide from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this window card! Condition: good. The card had a diagonal crease across the center with many creases and scuffs in the solid background areas. Someone came up with a very odd way of reinforcing the card where it was creased. They put two thick white strips that are likely "command strips", or something similar, across the back of that area. It does reinforce the card, but it is certainly an odd way to do it (and of course, it could be removed by the new owner, especially if they wanted to perform restoration to this extremely rare card).
