An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) The Unearthly, the 1957 Boris Petroff (billed as "Brooke L. Peters") horror thriller ("Lured! - to the House of Monsters..."; "No escape from The Unearthly"; "Guaranteed to Frighten!"; "Original Story By Jane Mann"; about a mad doctor who runs an insane asylum, and he experiments on his patients by injecting glands into their brains that are intended to make them immortal, but it turns them into monsters instead) starring John Carradine, Allison Hayes, Myron Healy, Sally Todd, Marilyn Buferd, Arthur Batanides, and Tor Johnson (as the monster in the basement) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was machine folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. There are creases along both foldlines and tiny paper loss at the crossfold. There is slight darkening along the back of the vertical foldline, but it only shows through to the front in the neck and back of the head of the nurse with the surgical mask at top center. There is 1/2" of separation at the left of the horizontal foldline and minor creases and smudges around the edges of the poster. IN THIS SPECIAL HALLOWEEN AUCTION, we have given a more detailed overall condition grade along with more details about the condition described in words. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, plus there are some defects (like separation on folds, tape on the back, extremely tiny pinholes, etc) which can be VERY difficult to see, even in our largest "super-sized" image. Therefore we strongly recommend that you BOTH read our written description of the item, AND ALSO look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.
