Note that this movie was first released in Australia as a sequel to Mad Max, and was titled Mad Max 2. The movie was a giant hit and distributors wanted to release it in the U.S., but since the first movie had only had a very limited release in the U.S., they re-titled it so as to not confuse audiences (but they printed a limited number of international "Mad Max 2" one-sheets in the U.S., which are far more rare than the "The Road Warrior" U.S. one-sheets). For unknown reasons, studios such as Columbia, Warner Bros and Universal printed inserts on this paper for a brief time around the early 1980s, and then stopped doing it. Most inserts for this title are on thin paper. Condition: good to very good. The poster has slightly darkened and there are pinholes and tiny tears around the edges.
