Note that fantasy artist H.R. Giger did the wonderful art that was used to create the alien and the alien planet, but his art was not used on any of the regular posters, only on special prints created after the movie became a hit! Starting sometime in the late 70's, both the National Screen Service and the movie studios would sometimes print posters for the same film. Both posters would have the same images and art but the studio-printed posters would lack the NSS identification information normally found at the bottom of posters printed by the National Screen Service. The poster offered here was printed by 20th Century Fox, lacks NSS information and is 100% original! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has some light and fine creases scattered throughout and a few areas of edge wear. There are a few faint scuffs in some areas but the defects above are not very noticeable or distracting when the poster is displayed at a reasonable viewing distance and otherwise it is in pretty nice condition.
