In 3 hilarious roles!"; "Based on the book 'Red Alert' by Peter George"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Peter Sellers (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; playing three roles: President Merkin Muffley, Group Captain Lionel Mandrake, and the title role of Dr. Strangelove), George C. Scott (as General Buck Turgidson), Sterling Hayden (as Brigadier General Jack D. Ripper), Keenan Wynn (as Colonel Bat Guano), Slim Pickens (as Major T.J.
