Compagnie Algerienne (literally translates to "Algerian Company"), the 1918 French World War I (WWI) War Bond poster (with taglines that translate to "Liberation loan" and "Subscribe") encouraging Algerian people to help the war efforts, and featuring Maurice Romberg art of an Algerian soldier on a galloping horse. Note that around 500,000 men from Algeria and French West Africa fought for France during World War I.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had just a few pinholes and small tears around the edges, with some smudges and scuffs scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
