The Gangster, the 1947 Gordon Wiles crime film noir ("Shock story of 'The Gangster'!"; "Toppled from throne"; "The man with the scar"; "Gangster's downfall!"; "Extra! - Metropolitan Daily Journal - Extra!"; "Told with bullet force!"; "Screenplay by Daniel Fuchs, from his novel 'Low Company'") starring Barry Sullivan, Belita, Joan Lorring, Akim Tamiroff, Harry Morgan, John Ireland, Elisha Cook Jr., and Sheldon Leonard. Note that this movie was originally released as "The Gangster", but that same year it was revised, and was retitled "Low Company" (which was the title of the source novel by Daniel Fuchs).

Condition: fair to good. We are selling thousands of stills this week, and we can't give detailed descriptions of every one.
