An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded One-Sheet Movie Poster (28" x 42") (Learn More) This poster is an advertisement for theaters that could play "Synchrotone Pictures" 'talkies'. "Coming Soon: The World's Greatest and Latest Achievement. Come, Look, Listen and Be Spell Bound!"; "Hear what you see!"; "Vaudeville on the Screen!". Note that this poster is surely from 1927 or 1928, as it presents talking pictures as a "coming soon" attraction! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 42". Please do not bid on this poster thinking it is 27" x 41". Also note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing, but a very few were left unfolded. An unfolded poster from before 1980 is almost always far more difficult to find than a folded poster of the same title, and finding unfolded posters in excellent condition is even more difficult! Condition: good to very good. There is paper loss in the bottom of the left border. There is a diagonal piece that is loose from the top right corner that includes part of the red border, and will be sent along with the poster. There are creases and tears around the edges of the poster and many light creases throughout. This week we have given a more detailed overall condition grade along with more details about the condition described in words. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, plus there are some defects (like creasing, tape on the back, extremely tiny pinholes, etc) which can be VERY difficult to see, even in our largest "super-sized" image. Therefore we strongly recommend that you BOTH read our written description of the item, AND ALSO look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.
