Balderston from the play by Peggy Webling"; the first of the Universal "Frankenstein" movies, and regarded as one of the finer movies of any genre, in large part due to the marvelous acting of Boris Karloff, and the marvelous direction of James Whale!) starring Colin Clive (as Dr. Herbert V. Artist: Bos Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned this poster three times, and the last time we auctioned it, it sold for $733! Note that the Frankenstein monster pictured is Glenn Strange (who played the monster in the 1940s) and NOT Boris Karloff. Despite this, the poster here IS definitely for the 1950s re-release of the 1931 film in which Boris Karloff played the Frankenstein monster. Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded once in each direction and it has creases along both folds. There are tiny tears in the horizontal fold. There is a faint diagonal crease in the top right of the poster, going through the monster's forehead and running to the middle of the right border, but it is not very noticeable.
