Fields and Me, the 1976 Arthur Hiller biographical melodrama ("Even a man who hates children and dogs has to love someone."; "Based on the book by Carlotta Monti with Cy Rice"; a highly fictionalized biography of Fields from a book written by an ex-girlfriend, although the movie was completely different from the book!) starring Rod Steiger (in the title role as W.C. Fields), Valerie Perrine, John Marley, Jack Cassidy (as John Barrymore), Bernadette Peters, Dana Elcar, Paul Stewart (as Florenz Ziegfeld), Billy Barty, and Carlotta Monti NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Most half-sheet posters were folded once horizontally and once vertically right off of the printing press.
