Hartford Canadian/U.S. silent romantic action melodrama (based on the novel by Alan Sullivan) starring Harry T. Morey, Mary Astor, Walter Miller, Harlan Knight, Charles Slattery, and Charles Wellesley. Note that you might think that it would be "another" Mary Astor in this movie, but it IS indeed the Mary Astor who became a major star of the 1930s and 1940s, in her first major role! . Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good. The back pane has a faint diagonal crack across the slide from the lower left to the upper right corner. It is not that noticeable and could certainly be replaced. There were once play dates written in the bottom blank area, but they are almost all gone. Otherwise, the slide is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
