The poster had tears and some paper loss on parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. Someone linenbacked it years ago and did restoration to the above defects, and the restoration paint has aged differently than the poster, so all the restoration paint is extremely noticeable (see our image).
