the international theatrical release of Flood!, the 1976 Earl Bellamy made-for-TV natural disaster action adventure thriller ("Sudden! Overpowering! Terrifying!"; produced by Irwin Allen) starring Robert Culp, Martin Milner, Barbara Hershey, Richard Basehart, Carol Lynley, Roddy McDowall, and Cameron Mitchell. Note that this TV movie was intended to be the pilot for a series about helicopter rescues, but the movie was poorly received, and the series was scrapped. Note that producer Irwin Allen had been riding high with several successful TV series and both "The Poseidon Adventure" and "The Towering Inferno", but this movie flopped (and he had his name taken off the credits).
