An Original Vintage Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh) (Learn More) The Radio Detective, the 1926 William James Craft & William A. Crinley silent Boy Scouts shortwave wireless radio romantic adventure serial ("An adventure picture"; "From the famous Craig Kennedy story in Boys Life by Arthur B. Reeve"; "Produced with the co-operation of the Boy Scouts of America") starring Jack Dougherty, Margaret Quimby, Jack Mower (as Craig Kennedy), Wallace Baldwin, Howard Enstedt, John T. Prince, Florence Allen, and Sammy Gervon. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this film was made during the time when Universal was using Adventure Pictures as the production company for its serials. There are many such Universal/Adventure Pictures serials from 1925 to 1932. A collector tells us that Adventure Pictures was a wholly owned subsidiary that Universal used to distance themselves from the increasingly low-brow serials, and their desire to be viewed as a more high-end producer of features.
