A modern retelling of the ancient legend of love and passion and violence!"; "Passionate! Volatile! Haunting!"; winner of the Best Foreign Language Academy Award; a re-telling of the Greek myth, updated to the present day and set at the Brazilian Carnival, and featuring black actors in the lead roles) starring Breno Mello (in the title role as Orfeu), Marpessa Dawn (as Eurydice), Marcel Camus, Fausto Guerzoni, Lourdes de Oliveira, and Adhemar Ferreira da Silva (as Death) Artist: Anna Huskowska Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It has slightly darkened. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that either the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster, or possibly the owner of the poster chose to carefully trim off the excess, so that the poster would fit in a frame.
