Artist: Roger Kastel Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster! We have only previously auctioned one example of it, and that was 17 years ago. Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 29 3/4" x 40" [76 x 102 cm]. Condition: good. The poster was never folded. Someone trimmed a tiny bit (approximately 1/4") from the right blank border, and only blank white paper was affected. The poster had a few creases and scuffs scattered in the image, including a faint semi-circular one going through the shark's lower lip. The poster was then framed, and the mat caused the blank borders to become lightly stained and darkened (see our image). The poster could certainly be re-framed like it was, and then only the creases and scuffs in the image would show. Or one could choose to have any amount of restoration performed. Obviously, one would prefer to have a better example of this poster, but it has been 17 years since we last auctioned one, so that might be a very long wait! Learn More about condition grades
