An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 17 1/4") (Learn More) The Naked Jungle, the 1954 Byron Haskin army-ants-attack-South-American-coffee-plantation romantic adventure thriller ("The picture about the Marabunta!"; "Produced by George Pal"; "Based on the story 'Leiningen Versus The Ants' by Carl Stephenson") starring Eleanor Parker, Charlton Heston, William Conrad, Abraham Sofaer, and Romo Vincent. Note that when this movie was made, Charlton Heston had had some leading roles, but he was still second billed to Eleanor Parker. But after he made The Ten Commandments, The Big Country, and especially Ben-Hur in 1959, he was a superstar, and this movie was re-released in 1960 with Heston getting top billing (and a giant image on the posters). Important Added Info: The window card originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this was commonly done with window cards, when the top had been left blank, or when someone had hand-scrawled play date information in that area). Most collectors do not consider it to be a significant defect at all, since only blank white paper is lost, and the window card becomes easier to frame. Note that the window card was folded across the center at one time. Because the foldline is not exactly across the center of the card, we don't want to re-fold the window card prior to mailing, because it would not fit in one of our standard mailers, and we believe that re-folding the window card would lessen its condition (we never roll window cards into a tube).
