1980 Genie Awards, the first annual film awards program held at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, hosted by Bruno Gerussi. Note that this is the Canadian equivalent of the Academy Award that replaced the Canadian Film Awards ceremony held in previous years, and was the year The Changeling won Best Picture!
