Note that this movie is always referred to as a "1937" movie, but it actually only had a limited opening in December 1937 (no doubt to qualify for the Oscars), and then it had its wide opening in February 1938. But because it is always referred to as being from 1937, we refer to it that way as well (and of course, it is technically correct). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card has paper loss in the bottom left blank corner. It has pinholes, small tears, and small stains around the edges. It has two 1 1/2" tears in the left border and both have tape on the back, and a 1" tear, a 1/2" tear, and a tiny tear in the right border that has a piece of tape on the back. There was some kind of snipe on the front of the extreme left of the image (in the tree trunk at middle left), and it left some sort of residue in that area that is mostly only noticeable when the card is tilted to the light. The colors of the card are bright and it can either be displayed as it is, or certainly, restoration could be performed. Either way, the new owner will have a rare a desirable lobby card to display on their wall! Learn More about condition grades
