I have my own life to live!"; "Youth... living its own life...loving...making its own mistakes...Have parents the right to interfere?"; "From the play 'After All' by John Van Druten"; a wacky story of a wealthy couple and their son and daughter who are each rebellious in their own way; the son wants to go to Paris to be a painter, and the daughter has an affair with a married man; after many dramatic moments, including death scenes for both parents, both children start to conform, and by the end of the movie, they have settled into lives similar to their parents, reflecting the 1930s need to have "happy" endings, especially at MGM!) starring Robert Young (his fifth real role and his second starring role!), Margaret Perry, Lewis Stone, Laura Hope Crews, and Myrna Loy.
