An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Priscilla Lane was an actress from the 1930s to the 1940s. She was one of the Lane Sisters (three sisters who performed together with Gale Page in a series of movies where they played four sisters). She also had a solid solo career in the 1940s. Some of her movies include: Arsenic and Old Lace, The Roaring Twenties, and Saboteur. Note that most people would naturally assume that there were only three Lane sisters in real life, which was why they had to cast a non-sister in the role of the fourth movie sister. But actually, they DID have a fourth sister, Leota, but she had a screen test, and did so poorly that she was sent home (which surely must have made for strained holiday dinners!). Priscilla passed away in 1995 at the age of 79. Artist: Muky Important Added Info: Note that this still has a photo credit on the back for "Muky". This was Menyhert Munkacsi, a Hungarian transplant to Hollywood in the mid 1930s, who was known as "Muky" because it was sort of how the beginning of his last name was pronounced. He became one of Warner Bros.' top Hollywood photographers from the 1930s to the mid 1940s, after which he moved to New York, continuing his work there. Note that this still measures 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Condition: very good. There are two tiny tears and some creases in the bottom border, and some faint scuffs in the sky background area. Learn More about condition grades
