11 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More)

Small Town Girl, the 1953 Leslie Kardos romantic love triangle musical ("Music and Merriment in color by Technicolor"; "Story by Dorothy Cooper"; about a playboy speeding through a small town with his fiancee, and he is arrested and sentenced to 30 days in jail, and the judge's daughter falls for him!) starring Jane Powell, Farley Granger, Ann Miller, S.Z. Sakall, Robert Keith, Nat 'King' Cole, Billie Burke, and Bobby Van. Note that this movie is surely best remembered today for its wonderful sequence with Bobby Van "dances" to the music "Take Me to Broadway", jumping like a human pogo stick throughout the small town (it is included in "That's Entertainment"). Also note that there was a similar movie in 1936 with the same title, starring Robert Taylor and Janet Gaynor, but it was not the same as this movie, and had different writing.

We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured!
