He is best known for finding and rescuing a German Shepherd he named Rin Tin Tin, later training him to perform a variety of stunts, and putting him in the movies. He also bred the dog, and several of Rin Tin Tin's offspring were in films and movies! Duncan passed away in 1960 at the age of 67. Important Added Info: Note that this book has been personally autographed (signed) by Lee Duncan (who added "Master & friend of Rin Tin Tin Dogs")! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
