The Art of the Moving Picture, the 1915 Vachel Lindsay book giving the author's views on the then-current state of movie making. The author says "this book might be entitled 'How to Classify and Judge the Current Films'". What is so fascinating about this book (which has no illustrations) is that it gives a scholarly analysis of film in 1915, which most people would consider to be when movies were in their infancy!
