An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Mexican Movie Poster (measures 27" x 36 3/4" [69 x 93 cm]) (Learn More) La Malquerida (literally translates to "The Unloved"), the 1949 Emilio Fernandez Mexican romantic love triangle melodrama (a widowed woman remarries, not knowing her daughter wants him as well!) starring Dolores Del Rio , Pedro Armendariz, Columba Dominguez (in the title role as Acacia), Roberto Canedo, and Julio Villareal NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Juanino Renau Berenguer Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie! Condition: fair to good. There are tack holes and some tiny circular areas of paper loss scattered throughout the poster. There are some water stains along the foldlines. The poster was folded in half an extra time resulting in a vertical foldline at left and right and there are some creases scattered throughout. Note that this Mexican poster is somewhat fragile! Mexican posters were printed on a paper stock that often ages very poorly, and also darkens. This poster has darkened somewhat and is more fragile along the foldlines (but of course, any talented restorer could linenback the poster, after which it would look great).
