Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (measures 11 1/2" x 14 1/4"; 8 pages). Also included is an ad supplement that has 1 page (Learn More) Munster, Go Home!, the 1966 Earl Bellamy Universal horror family comedy (based on the classic TV show, "The Munsters"; "America's Funniest Family in the First Full-Length Feature in Technicolor"; "Herman races the world's fastest cars with his DRAG-U-LA special!"; "The Munster get rich and the screen gets balmy in their first full-length feature in Technicolor") starring Fred Gwynne (as Herman Munster), Yvonne De Carlo (as Lily Munster), Al Lewis (as Grandpa Munster), Butch Patrick (as Eddie Munster), Debbie Watson (as Marilyn Munster, the "normal" one!), Terry-Thomas, and Hermione Gingold. Note that one of the vehicles the Munsters rode in was the "Munster Koach" designed by George Barris! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that pressbooks were prepared prior to a movie being released. Often, changes would be made in a movie advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed. These supplements are very rare, far more rare than the pressbooks themselves! Some pressbooks would have no supplements, some would have one, and some would have several. Almost every Academy Award winning movie would have a special "Academy Award winner" supplement. Note that this pressbook is part of an amazing collection of 456 different horror/sci-fi pressbooks (our items #5387 through #5842)! The collector who assembled this collection did so over a span of several decades, and to duplicate it would surely take at least that long, if one started today. But on October 30th, every one of these pressbooks will go to a new owner, as all are being sold with NO reserve. Note that this collection spans the years from 1950 to 1972, and just about every single 1950s and 1960s horror/sci-fi movie is represented here. Also note that we have listed them in DATE order (first by year, and then alphabetically within years). This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire rare pressbooks that almost never are offered for sale! Condition: very good to fine. Note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Since pressbooks were INTENDED to be cut up (the theater owners would cut out the newspaper ads to run in their local papers).
