The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and a series of tiny tears and tiny areas of paper loss in the vertical foldline between the top and bottom crossfolds, with a lesser amount of wear on the other foldlines. There were some pinholes, creases, and tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects, plus the restorer left alone the tiny paper loss in the bottom border (likely rightfully assuming it will not show when the poster is framed).
