An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Stewart Edward White's Wild Geese Calling, the 1941 John Brahm Seattle Washington Alaska romantic love triangle melodrama (based on the novel by Stewart Edward White; about a man who works in Seattle with an old friend, and unknowingly, he falls for the man's former girlfriend, and later, after all three move to Alaska, he learns of their prior involvement, which causes trouble) starring Henry Fonda, Joan Bennett, Warren William, Ona Munson, Barton MacLane, and Iris Adrian. Note that the phrase "wild geese calling" is similar to "a rolling stone gathers no moss", which refers to someone who "moves on" at the drop of a hat (or every time they hear wild geese in the sky). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. There is a scuff mark in Fonda's jaw line, with smudges in the lower part of his face and his jacket. There are staple holes, creases, and some smudges around the edges. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
