An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Walking Back Home, the 1933 George Stevens romantic comedy short ("A Blonde and Redhead comedy"; about two sexy women working at a drive-in who spend all their time trying to find a rich husband) starring June Brewster, Carol Tevis, Grady Sutton, Nick Stuart, Howard Wilson, and Landers Stevens (the father of the director). Note that director George Stevens spent years in Hollywood directing comedy shorts (from 1930 to 1935), and he directed 30 of them in that time. In 1935, he got his big break directing Katharine Hepburn in Alice Adams, and his career quickly took off, and he made many extremely memorable Hollywood movies, including Gunga Din, Swing Time, The More the Merrier, A Place in the Sun, and of course, Shane and Giant! We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this one-sheet! Condition: good to very good. The poster has pinholes in each corner and small paper loss in the upper right blue background area. It has separation and tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some pretty minor fold wear. It has some faint drip stains down the left side of the poster and some tiny tears in the borders. After a pretty simple linenbacking the poster will display wonderfully!
