An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Super-Sleuth, the 1937 Ben Stoloff Los Angeles Hollywood California actor-turned-detective murder mystery crime screwball comedy (a wacky story of a movie detective who announces that he can solve crimes better than the police, but that attracts the attention of a serial killer called the "Poison Pen", and the actor hires a professor to help him find out who the Poison Pen is, but the professor secretly is the Poison Pen, so he pretends to help the actor while he is trying to kill him!) starring Jack Oakie, Ann Sothern, Eduardo Ciannelli, Alan Bruce, and Edgar Kennedy NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had staining in the left half of the middle horizontal fold and in the white background above and below it. It also had staining around the edges. It had tears and small paper loss on parts of the foldlines and pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
