Note that this movie is always referred to as a "1937" movie, but it actually only had a limited opening in December 1937 (no doubt to qualify for the Oscars), and then it had its wide opening in February 1938. But because it is always referred to as being from 1937, we refer to it that way as well (and of course, it is technically correct). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this 1944 re-release title card, and both examples were in MUCH lesser condition! Note that lobby cards from this 1944 re-release of "Snow White" are more rare than those from the first release (there was also a 1951 re-release, and those cards are also rare). One would surely think that far fewer theaters showed this movie in 1944 than showed it in 1937, which would likely help account for the rarity. Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There are pinholes, tiny creases, a few faint smudges around the edges, with a tiny tear in the bottom left blank corner, a pinhole in the center of the card, and two small scuff marks in the lower right background. There is a light partial vertical crease in the right of the card that runs from the right of the top border (above the exclamation point) down to the union logo in the right of the bottom border (it is mostly only noticeable from the back of the card, and it is barely seen from the front of the card; see our images). Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
