The man in black is waiting..."; "It's the second motion picture of its kind! It won't be the last!"; "The man with no name is back! The man in black is waiting... A walking arsenal - he uncoils, strikes and kills!") starring Clint Eastwood (as Monco), Lee Van Cleef (as Col. Mortimer), Gian Maria Volonte, Mara Krupp (billed as "Mara Krup"), Luigi Pistilli, Klaus Kinski (as Juan Wild, the Hunchback), Joseph Egger (billed as "Josef Egger"), Panos Papadopulos, Benito Steffanelli, Roberto Camardiel, Aldo Sambrell, Luis Rodriguez, and Mario Brega. Note that this movie was released in December of 1965 (no doubt to qualify for awards), but most of the Italian posters from the first release are dated 1966. The poster is rippled around the edges and there is some light rippling scattered in the poster (see our image). It has pinholes around the edges and at upper center in Eastwood's hat and there is some general fold and border wear. This is the kind of poster that responds really well to restoration. It is likely that much or most of the rippling during linenbacking and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
