An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Jailhouse Rock, the classic 1957 Richard Thorpe rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) crime prison romantic musical ("His first big dramatic singing role!"; about a young man who is sent to prison for manslaughter, and while there he is helped to become a singer/musician by an older convict, and after he is released, he becomes a major rock star!) starring Elvis Presley ("At His Greatest"), Judy Tyler (who sadly died in an auto accident before the release of the film), Mickey Shaughnessy, Dean Jones, Jennifer Holden, and Anne Neyland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Bradshaw Crandell Condition: very good. The poster has creases in the bottom right corner, with a V-shaped tear within the creases, and someone put a small piece of clear tape on the back of part of the V-shaped tear. There is a 2" tear in the upper right border (to the right of Elvis' shoulder) and a 1/2" tear above that, and someone put a small piece of clear tape on the back of the longer tear. Otherwise, the poster is in really nice condition, and has had no restoration other than the two tiny pieces of clear tape, and it is one of the nicer condition examples of this poster I have encountered!
