She had been in the Juliet Prowse Trio dancing in Rome, Italy, and MGM choreographer Hermes Pan saw her and recommended she be cast in the role of Shirley MacLaine's sister in Can-Can! In 1960, she became romantically involved with Frank Sinatra, and they soon became engaged, and she co-starred with Elvis Presley in G.I. Blues, and it seemed like she had an unlimited future. But then she broke up with Sinatra and her movie career fizzled. In 1965, she appeared on the short-lived TV series "Mona McCluskey", and that was the end of her TV and movie career, although she performed for a long time on the stage.
