An Original Vintage Folded World War II Poster (measures 22" x 27 3/4" [56 x 70 cm]) (Learn More) Doing All You Can, Brother?, the 1943 U.S. World War II (WWII) War Bonds poster ("Buy War Bonds") used to encourage citizens to purchase war bonds, and featuring Robert Smullyan Sloan art of a soldier with a bandaged head and a blood-stained uniform standing in a barren field with broken/abandoned machinery, and the implication is obvious that soldiers are risking life and limb, and certainly, civilians could buy some war bonds to "do their part". This poster certainly seems not only "heavy handed" to today's world, but outright "over the top", but of course America during World War II knew that the Nazis could potentially conquer the entire world and they wanted to make sure every citizen did all they could to keep that from happening, and posters like this certainly drove that message home! Artist: Robert Smullyan Sloan Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The poster has minor fold and border wear. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well! Learn More about condition grades
