Castles in the Air, the 1926 - 1927 James W. Elliott Broadway stage play musical romantic comedy (book and lyrics by Raymond W. Peck) starring Thais Lawton, Gregory Ratoff, Allen Waterous, Stanley Fore, Clarise Anderson, and Martha Ann

Important Added Info: Note that not only does this stage play program book have a die-cut cover (which is unusual in itself), but it also has an example of the playbill for this play (which at that time was called "The Playgoer") glued to the inside back cover. We don't know if this was done by the theater or by the person who bought the program book. Either way, the winner of this auction will receive both the program book and the issue of The Playgoer (which is vol 1 no 12, and which has Helen Hayes on the cover; see our image). However, remember that the Playgoer magazine is glued into the program book. Note that we have pictured the front cover, an interior 2-page spread from this program, and the inside back cover where the playbill is glued. You can use these images to determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image, but realize that there are some other pages you are not seeing.
