An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Park Avenue Logger, the 1937 David Howard New York City wrestling sports family relationship logging timber lumber camp melodrama ("A Fist-Flying Story of Grit and Speed... Hewn from the Heart of the Northwoods!"; based on the "Saturday Evening Post" story by Bruce Hutchison; a ridiculous story of a millionaire father who sends his sissy son to work in the family lumber camp to make a man of him; unknown to him, his son is secretly a professional wrestler, and he not only beats up the tough lumberjacks who pick on him, but he also exposes a gang of crooks who have been stealing from his father!) starring George O'Brien, Beatrice Roberts, Willard Robertson, Ward Bond, and Gertrude Short NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"! Learn More about condition grades
