Date Sold 9/26/2023Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Uncle Tom's Cabin, the 1914 William Robert Daly silent black African American melodrama (based on the Harriet Beecher Stowe novel) starring Irving Cummings, Sam Lucas (in the title role as Uncle Tom), Walter Hitchcock, Hattie Delaro, and Master Abernathy NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: fair to good. There is a crack in the right of the front pane that slightly enters the background of the image and the "N" of "CABIN" (see our image) Learn More about condition grades
