Ross Lederman German Shepherd canine dog romantic melodrama ("Adapted from the story by Harvey Gates"; about a young woman who lives with her grandfather, and she finds a dog that wanders in from the desert, and she adopts him, and when he grandfather is kidnapped, the dog helps find him, but her boyfriend, who went with the dog, is attacked by a vicious dog, and Rin-Tin-Tin is mistaken for the vicious dog, and is almost put to death, but the grandfather saves the dog!) starring Rin Tin Tin (in the title role as Rinty; most famous of the movie dog stars, he was Warner Bros.' #1 star in their early lean years and the earnings from his movies kept the studio in the black!), Audrey Ferris, Carrol Nye, Paul Panzer, and Otto Hoffman. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine.
