An Angel from Texas, the 1940 Ray Enright romantic musical comedy ("You've seen a Texas bad-man, you've heard of a Texas tornado - now - meet An Angel From Texas"; "Based on a play by George S. Kaufman") starring Eddie Albert, Rosemary Lane, Wayne Morris, Jane Wyman, Ronald Reagan, Ruth Terry, and Hobart Cavanaugh

Condition: very good to fine. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds. There was an extra slightly diagonal foldline just above the right half of the top foldline, and there is some paper loss in that crease (in Wayne Morris' collar). There are extra creases above and below the bottom foldline, but they are not very noticeable. There are creases, smudges, faint stains and a few tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did not completely touch up all of the minor image defects, and pretty much left alone the border defects. The poster's image defects are not very distracting, and the poster could be displayed just like it is, or any talented restorer could perform further restoration on the poster, without re-backing it.
