An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Monolith Monsters, the 1957 John F. Sherwood Universal science fiction (sci-fi) horror thriller ("Mammoth skyscrapers of stone thundering across the Earth!"; "This was the day the Monolith Monsters attacked the Earth!"; "Living skyscrapers of stone thundering across the earth! ...crushing All that stand in their path!"; "See: a fiery meteor hurtle from outer space!"; "See: people turned to stone!"; "See: the monsters feeding upon water!") starring Grant Williams, Lola Albright, Les Tremayne, Phil Harvey, and Trevor Bardette NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. There was an uneven 2" tear in the right of the top border (just extending into the edge of the background), which someone repaired with scotch tape from the back. There is small paper loss at the top of that tear. There is a piece of brown paper tape on the back of the top center of the card which has slightly darkened the front of the card in that area. There are several pinholes in each top corner. There is a 2" crease in the "MON" of "MONSTERS" in the title. There is discoloration in the bottom right corner of the image. There are creases and smudges around the edges of the card. The card is in better condition than the above makes it sound! None of the above defects are all that noticeable or distracting, and the card would display pretty well just as it is (or a talented restorer could surely repair its minor defects without putting much paint anywhere on the image).
