An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Fright Night, the 1947 Edward Bernds slapstick boxing sports crime comedy short ("The Stooges are PUNCHIER than ever... in a KNOCKOUT of screwy joy!"; the Stooges manage a boxer, and they are told by gangsters that their boxer has to lose the big fight, and they try to make him lose by plying him with rich food and a sexy lady!) starring The Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine, Shemp Howard), Dick Wessel, Claire Carleton, Stanley Blystone, and Tiny Brauer. Note that this was the very first Three Stooges short where Shemp replaced Curly, and Shemp said that it was his very favorite one! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the bottom crossfold and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some foldlines. It had pinholes around the edges and a few pinholes in the image. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
