He was especially known for his works during the Second Spanish Republic and Spanish Civil War. He also worked as a photographer and set designer. He passed away in 2007 at the age of 90. Artist: Carles Fontsere Important Added Info: Note that this art print has been personally autographed (signed) by Carles Fontsere! Also note that this print is an "artist's proof" that was printed in a much lesser amount for the artist by the printer (note that "AP" written on the print). Since AP's are "closer to the artist's hand" they tend to be much more valuable than the prints of a signed and numbered limited edition! Condition: good. The poster has slight discoloration scattered in some areas (more so in the large blank borders and there is writing at lower left that enters the art area.
